To file a patent application within five business days, we basically have to drop everything and move heaven and earth! But we understand that sometimes you have to be "patent pending" very quickly, so here's what you'll need to do so that we have everything we need to finish and file your patent application within our goal of five business days:

For Utility Patents:

  1. Declaration Form (sign where indicated; we'll fill-in the final title)
  2. Power of Attorney (sign and date where indicated)
  3. Patent Application Request Form
  4. Cashier's Check or Money Order for full amount
  5. Photos, images, drawings, etc. of your invention from all relevant angles
  6. Technical information that won't fit on the Patent Application Request Form
  7. Current email, phone, cell phone, and home phone numbers so that we can contact you immediately, wherever you are, if we have any urgent questions or concerns
  8. Prior Art from your patent search, if any.

For Provisional Patents

  1. Power of Attorney (sign and date where indicated)
  2. Patent Application Request Form
  3. Cashier's Check or Money Order for full amount
  4. Photos, images, drawings, etc. of your invention from all angles
  5. Technical information that won't fit on the Patent Application Request Form
  6. Current email, phone, cell phone, and home phone numbers so that we can contact you immediately if we have any questions or concerns.
  7. Any relevant prior art patents from your patent search, if any.

For Design Patents

  1. Declaration Form (sign where indicated; we'll fill-in the final title)
  2. Power of Attorney (sign and date where indicated)
  3. Patent Application Request Form
  4. Cashier's Check or Money Order for full amount
  5. Photos, images, drawings, etc. of your invention from all angles (front, back, top, bottom, left, right, perspective)
  6. Technical information that won't fit on the Patent Application Request Form
  7. Current email, phone, cell phone, and home phone numbers so that we can contact you immediately if we have any questions or concerns
  8. Prior Art from your patent search, if any.
